Stone Brewing 1st Anniversary Celebration

Stone Brewing will be celebrating their 1st Anniversary (and Community Appreciation) in RVA!

In addition to a rad draft list (including a cask of an unreleased IPA) they will be joined by friends from Lamp Lighter Coffee and Mountain Culture who will be on site to share some samples and tell their stories. ⠀

They will also be joined by community partners from the Fulton Neighborhood Resource Center, who will be receiving 10% of draft beer sales that day.

St. John’s Church will have re-en-actors on site to perform Patrick Henry’s famous “Give me Liberty or give me death!” speech!

RVA Environmental Film Festival 2017

For the second year in a row, electric vehicles will be lined up in front of the Byrd Theatre as part of the RVA Environmental Film Fest. This will be a great opportunity for EV owners to share their experiences and for others to learn about EV technology.

After the round-up, stay for a screening of “Catching the Sun,” a documentary that explores the worldwide economics of the burgeoning solar energy industry and its impact on hopeful job seekers in the United States. After the screening, Aaron Sutch of VA SUN will discuss the group’s solar co-ops in Virginia and Charles Gerena of Drive Electric RVA will talk about the EV part of the zero emission transportation equation.

RamTHON Dance Marathon

Come out to RamTHON’s main event- what we’ve all been so excited for! Celebrate all your hard work fundraising and stay on your feet all day to honor the kids that can’t. We’ll have food, entertainment, and so much fun. Mark your calendars and invite your friends. It’s all For The Kids!

Richmond Vegan Mac Down

The Factory Farming Awareness Coalition’s famous Vegan Mac Down mac n’cheese cook off is coming to Richmond, VA for the first time!

As an attendee, you’ll get to sample all of the entries and vote for your favorite, as well as check out other awesome food and products from local veg vendors.

Tickets are $10 or at the door to benefit the important work being done by Factory Farming Awareness Coalition.
